[Really, people learn other languages back home because school makes them or it's for business. School was the only reason she'd taken Russian. She sucked at Russian.]

Woah there, bucko, don't go dropping the smart label on me yet. You haven't actually tried to teach me elven or whatever the actual name for it that starts with a D is. I mean, I'll give it my best, but languages aren't exactly easy to learn.

[He's a dragon. Languages are easy to learn when you live upwards of ten thousand years. Plus, if they're supposed to safeguard the world and the stuff on it, it's important to be able to learn this stuff quickly.]

Well, I have trouble with languages. You should've heard some of the things my Russian teacher said to me when I almost failed second year.

...then again, I never thought back then that I'd ever actually go to Russia.

The younger races are supposed to be very adaptable. I think you will not have too much trouble, but if you do, I am very patient.

Okay, let's do this. So... what's the teaching schedule going to be like? I do better with heavy immersion, but like after three hours, my eyes will start to glaze over.

I rarely leave the Sanctum, so you may come to me whenever is best for you. Would two hours a day suffice? I want to make sure you get plenty of time to eat and rest when you are not training and exploring. [These things are important!]

Since I'm still on a semi-nocturnal schedule, that'll work. I'll probably come bother you in the evening after my 'morning' run. I'll have a clearer head then.
